Modify default connector

I want to be able to go to my connector button, click and get a black
connector with a black arrow by default.....do not like the blue. Any tips?

If you modify your template document to be pre-seeded with the Dynamic
Connector (just use the connector tool once, delete the shape, and open the
Document Stencil)
You can edut this Master to your own taste, then save the template.
Then whenever you create a drawing fronm that template, you will have your
own connector!
