Modify default 'Preview Published Site' browser

I would like to change the default Published Site browser used to view
your site once it's published to a different browser.
I'm fairly certain it is defined somewhere in the Registry but am not
sure where to look.

If you select File Menu | Preview in Browser, you can add browsers, select currently installed
browsers and set a default browser.

It may default to the last browser you used - have you tried that? If it's
in the registry, I'm sure Steve Easton can find it

After reading your post again, when FP prompt you to view the published site, it use whatever
browser you have set as your default browser under Windows.

However, when you select Preview in Browser, click the Add button in the "Browser selection/Browser
Resolution" popup.
FP 2002 ( and also FP 98 if I remember correctly )

In FP 2003 select File, scroll down to "Preview in browser" and then select "Edit Browser List."


( Now if I could just figure out why IIS thinks I have 2 versions of extensions installed. Neither
of which I can configure )

Hello all,

Thanks for the input. I'm using FP2K and found that selecting "Preview
in Default Browser" fixed the problem as Mozilla is
defined as the system default. Curiously Netscape 4.3 isn't even shown
in the list of browsers in the registry key below.

The "default" browser doesn't need to be entered there. That key contains the other browsers ( if
added ) that will show in the browser list when you click Preview in browser
