We have an MS Project 03 Server implementation and we rely heavily on
exporting the filtered contents of the Risks and Issues lists to Excel for
reports. Unfortunately, we recently wanted to make some changes to the
columns and format of the Excel spreadsheets and found that we are unable to
do so.
It appears that Project Server 03 creates spreadsheets that are somehow
locked from changes. While I can see the advantage of preventing changes to
ensure data integrity, I would think there is some way to remove the
protection or copy/paste information freely as well.
Does anyone know of a way to "convert" the protected spreadsheet created
from an export of the Risks and Issues lists to a "normal" spreadsheet that
can be modified?
