Modify Save As Dialog Box in Office XP

Is there a way I can modify Office XP application (Excel, Word, etc.) Save
As Dialog Box to include an icon pointing to a folder on to a network drive?
Or even have that option when opening a file to a network drive?

If so, I would be using this feature at my job site.

Use the folder dropdown in the dialog to navigate to the folder, wherever it
is (local or network makes no difference). Click the Tools button in the
upper right and select Add to My Places.
