Modify SnapShot File

After creating a snapshot file which contains text and graphs, is there an
editor to modify the snapshot file? I would like to blur/remove sensitive
information in the document before emailing to my audience.

Can this be done?

If not, is there a recommendation on this topic?

I do not believe there is any way to edit an .snp file.
You may want to modify the report so you can produce a version with the
sensitive data removed.
One way, of course, is to have two almost identical reports, but IMHO, it is
a bad idea to duplicate objects.

There are a couple of other ways you can accomplish this. If you are on a
version previous to 2003, you will have to have a control on the form from
which you run the report that well tell the report whether to make the
controls you want to hide visible or not. With 2003, you can use the
OpenArgs.
Then in the Format Event of the section the controls are in make them
visible or not based on the value.

I thank you for the response Klatuu. I was thinking, saving the SNP as a PDF,
then convert the PDF to a JPG. I can then blur the sensitive data while
showing the data place on the document. Yes, this is time consuming and the
file size would be larger, but this is the best solution for what tools I
have available without creating additional reports that would only be used
once.
