Modify Web Access Home Page - How?

Would anyone here know how to modify the Home page of Project Web Access? In
particular, I would like to add my companies logo, and remove the part which
says “Work with Outlook to share calendar and task information†since we only
have Lotus Notes.

On a side note, am I correct when I type that Lotus Notes provides no
calendar functionality for Project Server?

Thank you very much.

This site has been a great resource tool.

Hi jzis,

You can for example, replace the Home image with another gif by renaming
pgHome and putting your own image in the image folder and call it gpHome.
You can do the same with other images on PWA by finding out the name of the
image and changing it in the same location. The standard location for these
images are C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Project Server 2003\IIS Virtual
Root\IMAGES on the Project Server Front-End Server.

There are many features you can control visibility to through permissions.
The Outlook integration is not one of them. Removing some of the features
on PWA is not that simple. You will have to get into the ASP pages and hide
things like the Outlook Integration for example.

Other features on PWA that I would like to be able to hide or remove would
be the "Reject" button on the Tasks section as well as the "Notify my
manager of time I will not be available to work"

You are correct that Lotus Notes do not have any integration with Project
Server. Only Outlook.

Here's a strange one. Though I do not seem to have anything called
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Project Server 2003\IIS Virtual
Root\IMAGES, I right clicked on the image, and noted that the pictures name is homepage.gif. Upon doing a search, nothing even closely resembles this image. Same goes with pghome. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I am sorry for the confusion. You will need to make this change on the
ProjectServer front end Server. Everyone will see this change after you do
this. If you are not the IT administrator you probably don't have access
which means you will have to get access or send the instructions to them so
they can do it for you.
