Modifying an Existing Template - Please Help!

I was given a template that has numbers down the left border and a couple
vertical lines. I'd like to remove them but can't figure out how to do it.

This template has some VBA components so I thought I would post it here.

Thanks for the help!

Hi,

It sounds like a california pleading. If so, they're probably just text in
a text box in the header! Put a page break in the document to make it at
least 2 pages long. Go into the header (choose view, header) press CTRL+A
on the keyboard, and then press delete. Click CLOSE to leave the header, if
they're not gone from both pages, go to the page that still has them and
repeat above steps.

You may need to do the same for the footer.

You can delete the page break when you're done.

As far as vba code -- choose Tools, Macros, Macros. The Madros dialog box
opens, there's a drop down list toward the bottom, make sure your Template
name is in there and then choose EDIT. That gets you into some of the vba
code. But I don't think you'll have to go there for your problem.

Good luck,
Laura

This sounds like a legal template. The numbers and lines
are probably graphics in the header or footer of the
template. Open the header and you should be able to
remove.
