When I try and set my chart color preferences, I go to the Colors
preference pane, and I see the standard color palette, and below it
the chart fill and chart line palettes. I want to modify the fill and
line colors using colors from the standard color palette, but when I
click modify, I don't get the standard color palette as options. Is
there a way to use the colors in the standard palette?
A mildly related question: How come, when I create a new chart, it
always appears with a gray background and no outline? Then I go into
the Format Chart Area pane, and the "Automatic" settings are for white
background and black outline? If they're "Automatic", why doesn't a
new chart automatically have that format?
Thanks
