modifying color schemes

I'm working on our company brochure and have tried several of the standard color schemes Publisher 2003 has to offer. Don't like any of them, so created own custom color scheme. But I can't seem to modify that custom color scheme without creating a new color scheme, so now I have xxx.brochure.color1; xxx.brochure.color 2; xxx.brochure color3 etc., etc. Two questions, really: 1) How do I delete color schemes I'm no longer interested in, and 2) how can I change a custom color scheme without creating a whole new custom color scheme, say, I just want to make the blue a little darker??

I'm working on our company brochure and have tried several of the standard
color schemes Publisher 2003 has to offer. Don't like any of them, so
created own custom color scheme. But I can't seem to modify that custom
color scheme without creating a new color scheme, so now I have
xxx.brochure.color1; xxx.brochure.color 2; xxx.brochure color3 etc., etc.
Two questions, really:

1) How do I delete color schemes I'm no longer interested in, and

1. Open the Color Scheme Task Pane
2. Click on Custom Color Scheme
3. On the Standard Tab, locate your Custom Color Scheme and select it.
4. Click on Delete Scheme

2) how can I change a custom color scheme without creating a whole new
custom color scheme, say, I just want to make the blue a little darker??

1. While still on the Standard Themes, highlight your custom scheme that you
want to change
2. Click on the Custom Tab
3. Your current custom scheme should be present
4. Change your in question
5. Click on Save Scheme
6. When prompted, enter the exact same name of the scheme that you are
replacing
7. When prompted to OVERWRITE or REPLACE existing scheme, say yes.
