modifying records

In Access 2000, I am unable to archive a record in which a
donation has been recorded in my donation sub menu. I've
tried changing the donation to 00.00, and it doesn't work.
Anyone have any ideas? Thank you

How are you archiving? Removing the main record from the main file? If you
have a relationship from the main to the sub, it will not allow you to
remove the record from the main table unless all relating records are
removed from the subfile. Try removing relating records from the donation
sub file, then removing the main record.
