Modifying Visio 2003 Templates

Hopefully someone can help. I've spent 3 days trying to
figure out how to modify a visio 2003 template (cross
functional process flow).

Microsoft has no guidance I can find and I'm going nuts.
At this point, I ready to build it from scratch

What types of changes do you want to make? Generally, you start a new
drawing from a built-in template and customize it the way you want. Then
choose Save As and save the drawing as file type template. If there is a
specific thing that you are having difficulty with, please repost.
