Monitor Display turned sideways

J

This is a new one. A co-worker states that after a child played on their
computer, the display has turned completely sideways at 90 degrees. There
has to be an easy answer to fix this situation, but I've tried everything I
know. Please help.

You need to tell us what brand of video card or adapter you have.
If you happen to have a NVIDIA card or adapter, right-click on
your desktop and select:

Properties > Settings > Advanced > GeForce (tab) > NVRotate
and change the setting to "Landscape (0 degree rotation)".

This is a fun 'trick' to play on your co-workers. Hit Control/Alt and one of
the arrow keys to move your screen around.
I've seen this tool used 'legitimately' when staff have a big screen and
many windows open. It's easier to tile the open windows when the monitor is
also turned.
