Monitoring user updates to project server

Looking for suggestions on how to accomplish a monitoring process.
-- The standard log activity / monitoring ability allows you to see which
Project Server user is logged in (when and for how long, note we have odd
problems with this, e.g. a user logged in for days, weeks at a time - makes
no sense, but that is a separate issue).
---How might you determine if every authorized PM has performed a progress
update within a specific period (last 7 days?, last 14 days?, last 30 days?)

Kevin, thanks - it seems this is a good option to determine if any one
project has not seen an update for a specificed period (from any user with
permission to update that project). My goal is to try to move to the next
level, meaning identify if an "individual user" and accessed the server and
made an update to a project.

:) Not trying to make it difficult and thank you much for your contribution,
just wondering if the other option might be doable also. You aware of
anything in the user activity logs that might allow for such a capability?
