Monthly view showing wrong month

When I set the calendar in Outlook 2000 to month view,
close out of outlook and go back the current month is not
displayed. This happens even if I exit out on the current
month.

Any ideas

What month is displayed? Outlook always shows the current month beginning
with the first week - for some months like this May, the last couple of days
are not shown in May.

It seems to always want to open with the April 26th week,
even now that it has switched over to June...
