MOPS 2007 - changing machine name

Astro Boy

We're moving our Project Server (MOPS 2007 - single server installation w/
SQL 2005, Project Server 2007, and WSS 3.0 all on same box) to a new domain
and have to change the machine name. This caused all kinds of problems in
P2003. Does anyone know if we can expect the same sort of thing w/ the new
product?

Thanks!

I take it by the silence that no one has tried this. Any thoughts or
suggestions? I am really hesitant to even try this if no one else has
attempted it.

We went ahead and made the change. We found no issues with changing the
machine name. It is a major issue in Project Server 2003, but apparently not
in Project Server 2007.

Just in case anyone was wondering...

Can you let me know the steps you followed to change the machine name.
I am having all sorts of problems in doing so.

Thanks.

Astro Boy,
Just seen your post. Could I please ask you to tell me what you did to
change your machine name using Project Server 2003? I have to do something
similar and having major problems getting it to work. I have installed a new
Project Server 2003 with empty DB (all on same server) but when I copy Prod
Data over to my Test box (with different machine name) it doesn't fly....
Any help would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks
Marcus
