More Advanced button grayed out

How do I 'turn on' the 'More Advanced' button in Outlook Tasks - Custom view
- filter- advanced area??

There's nothing to turn on. I suspect there may no longer be any applications around that hook into it.

I think some third party tools might turn that on but I've never seen the
button enabled.
