More Guest book Questions...

Okay thank you for the assist in the guest book it seems to working...
However in the interests of fine tuning it...

How do I edit out unfavorable or rude comments? Which why I had to disable
the page in the first place (Some one with grudge plastered the guest book
with obscenities and the like). In the current situation I would like to
remove all my test postings...

Also it when I designed the questions it keeps telling me that the assigned
field name is invalid? Yet the field is there and it seem to be working
fine...

Additional there is a mention of "Remote User" Yet my site has no need for
this..

In the ideal scenario I would like to save the comments to a separate
page... and have them appear in a nice clean frame box..

Thanks in advance for all your kind help...

Delete the corresponding Web pages and then choose
Recalculate Hyperlinks from the Tools menu.

What's the field name?

site has no need for this..

So don't use it.

On the last page of the Discussion Web Wizard, select
Dual Interface - Use Frames If Available.

With no offence intended but that did not answer my questions...
To be fair about it perhaps I should elaborate further...
How do I edit out specific comments...?

As in:
Responder one say "Yes your page is great...."

Responder two says "Your page is full of #$%#.."

and Responder three says "your page is okay..."

Obviously responder two needs to have his comments deleted.

The assigned field names are the titles of those fields

As in "Do you have a webpage?"
the field name is "Do you have webpage" In the default it is usually some
like T1
Yet whenever I use that field name it displays the answer and the field name
T1 rather than "Do you have a Webpage?"

The issue of Remote Access is only because it is displayed in the readers
responses... I have tried to delete any references to it and the date but
that only resulted in the current disabled displayed page. (I have a back
up of it)

Also I rather suspect the answer to my question is in the Confirmation Page.
Of which I would love to edit and refer to visitors to a fourth page
displaying what other visitors have said.

Also is there any specific articles in the MS Database or indeed any
independent resources that I could be pointed to regarding the FrontPage
Guest Book? I have a feeling that the answer is right before me.

Thanks,

Andrew S

1. You can't have spaces in form field names.

2. The FP Guest Book is very limited in functionality/customization
(Available options in Dialog).

3. I haven't come across any FP resources that deal with anything other than
how to set up the default Guest Book.

4. Consider looking for a 3rd Party Guest Book application or service.
