More Help with Arabic script please!

Hi, thanks for all your help, but I'm afraid I still don't understand.
Are you saying I can't read Arabic script with my OS X (10.3.5) and
my Word 2000? There must be some way, I need to read Arabic in word.
I'm afraid I'm not that computer savvy, so perhaps you could give me
some clear directions to activate it.

Thanks for your help, I look forward to your response.

Word 2000 is only available for Windows. You could run it on a Mac if you
bought a copy of Virtual PC, which allows you to run Windows on a Mac.

Assuming that you do not really have Word 2000, there are 2 versions of Word
for OS X. Microsoft does not support Arabic (or any other right-to-left
scripts) in Word v.X or Word 2004.

Word v.X cannot display Arabic.

Word 2004 might be able to display Arabic, but probably not very well, and
it would be difficult or impossible to edit Arabic.

If you want to use Arabic on OS X, you need to use a different program. I
suggest that you try Mellel, details here:
