More screen real estate for laptops in Word 2007

Hi,
In some books they say full screen view is gone in Word 2007.
Not true.
If you go to Office Button > Word Options > Customize, you can apply a
keyboard shortcut to toggle full screen view.
It's a good way to maximise screen space if you're a laptop user. And right
click for editing short cuts still works.
If you make lots of keyboard shortcuts for things like document view and
styles etc, you can sit in full screen view for most of the time.

Not true.

I haven't read this but any books which do say it are indeed wrong.

You don't actually need to set up your own shortcut, the old accelerator of
Alt+V,U still works - and ESC gets you out of it.

It was in Word 2007 Bible. I've found other mistakes in other books but I
think that was because authors were using the Beta versions.

Thanks, Herb.

I haven't seen your book but I have to say, especially given the amount of
change in 2007, that it must have been a monumental undertaking even without
having to base most of it on the beta version, and it would have been a
miracle if no errors had slipped through the net ;-)

I think you could hear all the Office 2007 book authors scream till the
north pole when MS changed the Ribbon visuals from Beta 2 to Beta 2 TR
and *all* the screenshots had to be redone...

Add to that... Wiley wanted everything shot in RTM Office 2007 and RTM
Vista. Every one of my screen shots was done at least 3 times.
