more truncated recordings in Powerpoint 2004

I thought I'd try recording my narration via the Insert Menu's option of
Movies and Sounds where one can record stuff and save it (I thought) to
embed within each slide.

So I recorded 1 minutes worth of narration, but when I played it back, only
5 sec was actually captured.

Is this a known bug?
