Apparently there is a bug that prevents a full SQL Server 2005 install
to run on the same server as SharePoint Server and anything based on
SharePoint. It seems the immediate fix if you wish to run Project,
Portfolio, WSS, and MOSS on the same server is to use the application
version of SQL that ships with Project.
If the application version of SQL that ships with Project is used (say
for a test environment), does anyone know of any resulting loss of
functionality within Portfolio, Project, WSS, or MOSS compared to
using the full version of SQL 2005?
Thanks,
Andy
