Good day Again
Well, I have tried several different configurations when restoring my back
up to a new server and I still get a lot of "name already exists"and other
errors.
What I have is a single Sharepoint 2007/Project 2007 server, it was the
first time I ever configured one so it is as simple as it gets. the server is
an older one and i want to move the entire setup to a new server.I have
loaded a new one with Sharepoint/project and have done nothing else, i have
the default Web sites and default databases. If i do a Backup in
Administrator on the old one, Can I just do a restore to the new one somehow.
I have tried and it seems I have to do some reconfiguring? Does anyone have
a procedure for doing such a migration?
