Most new features are bulls#@t!!!!! Do not add them by default to.

I tolerate change pretty well in my estimation, but each new version of your
software needs to give users the option to reset back to the old default
setup. For instance, I am using Outlook 2003 and everytime I hover or select
an item I get this annoying clicking sound. There is probably an easy way to
turn this feature off but I'm not smart enough to find it. I waste ten
minutes looking for a way, now multiply this by all the other changes that
have been made and you can waste a lot of time. Granted, many people like to
tackle the new version head-on with all the new features, but some of us are
too busy to slow down to figure out this new stuff or too slow to figure it
out. Bottom line- Microsoft and software developers will alienate plenty of
customers by not giving a smoother transition option for new software
versions.

Well, DUH!

Why install the new software if you want it to work like the old software?
Just use the old software!

Might be more sueful if you send this to Microsoft rather than posting on a
discussion group.
