Most Recently Used Form

I have recently installed Office 2007 on two different PCs. On one PC, when
a certain database is opened, on the navigation bar on the left, the last
form that was used when the database was last used is highlighted. This is
the same as it has been with previous versions of Access. The problem is
that this is not happening on the second PC. Any ideas why?

I should probably explain that this is an old database. The front-end is
located on the user's local c: drive and the back-end is on our network. The
front-end is version 2000 while the back-end and the workgroup file are
version 97.

Check the settings under tools/options. Ensure MRU is turned on, and specify
the number of MRUs to display.

The database that was last opened shows okay in the MRU list. The problem is
that when that database is opened, in the Navigation pane of Forms, the last
used form is not highlighted. The highlight is on the first form in the
list. I do not know of anything done differently on the two PC installs to
cause this difference. Where is this information stored?

By the way, in Access 2007 instead of Tools - Options, the setting would be
in Access Options - Advanced - Display - Show this number of Recent
Documents, correct?

Yeah, I'm old and set in my ways... so "Tools/Options" is the vernacular
stuck in my head for anything related to application settings. Not my fault
they trained me for so long one way, only to set me up for embarrasing
situations later. Further, after rereading your OP, I see that we're not
really even talking about MRU. Great... I'm 0/2. So, much for free help.

I looked in MSysObjects for something related to your desired concept, and
some of the other system tables, but don't know where its ferretted away.
Given that it's database related, I don't think it would be in the registry.
