mouse pointer and powerpoint 2003

Hello there,
Mouse pointer dissapears while typing in Powerpoint 2003, I need to
switch between applications to get it back.
I already have the hide mouse pointer while typing unchecked in
pointer options tab in mouse properties.
What can I try? Thank you, T

Actually there is no hardware acceleration on the Intel Q963/965
graphics video card and have latest 2008 this is a dell optiplex 745.

Mea culpa, I found the hardware acceleration and decreased it one tab
for the mouse settin, will let you know. Thank you, T
