Mouse scroll in Word 2007

I submitted this query before and received no help. Thought I'd try again.
I have a GE IR mouse and Office 2007. My mouse scroll wheel doesn't work in
Word 2007. It works OK in every other program and worked fine in Word 2003.
I searched for updated drivers and have found none. I use Win XP SP2. Any
ideas?

Inquire actively of the manufacturer (GE?).
