Mouse wheel doesn't work in Word

We recently upgraded to Office 2007. We have one user who says the mouse
wheel doesn't work in Word, but it does in the other Office applications.
Has anyone else had this issue?

I have seen this, and seen it reported several times, with Microsoft mice
using Intellipoint software. If this is your situation, there isn't really
any answer exept to try a different mouse.

You could try changing/updating the mouse driver first. Of course, changing
the mouse itself might work. But you could also make sure that ´KatMouse¡
is running alongside MS Word. ´KatMouse¡ makes the mouse wheel work in Word
on my system (XP SP3). ´KatMouse¡ is freeware.
