Mouse Wheel / USB Optical Mouse in VBE

Using XP Pro SP1 and Office XP the mouse scrolling inside
the VBE using the wheel mouse no longer works.

I know read something about this before, but can't find
the post.

I also saw something about upgrading to newest
Intellipoint software, so I went and downloaded
Intellpoint 5, and had it installed with no success.

Now, it's not a 'big' issue, but it sure is annoying.
Trying to scroll through my code is so ingrained into me
that even though I have already used this setup for a
couple of months I still try to scroll and as you might
imagine it's hugely frustrating when it fails to work.

Is there a real solution to this besides "go get new
drivers"???

There a patch or something I've missed?
