Mouse will not scroll VBA code window.

I have Win XP Pro and Office 2003, also the latest MS
Intellimouse optical.

The mouse wheel will not scroll the VBA code window.

Actually I bought the new MS mouse as my cheapie generic
mouse had the same problem. Sigh.

Intellimouse software versions 4 and 5 will not scroll with mouse wheel in
VBA code window. Many of us MVPs have gone back to version 3, which does
work.

I happen to have IntelliPoint 4.1 and it works fine in Office XP VBA
windows. It also has a lot more choices, than version 5, for the 4th
and 5th buttons on my IntelliMouse Optical. I'm not sure if will work
in Office 2003 VBA windows, but I'll find out this weekend.

Hmmm... consider yourself blessed if 4 is working for you. It didn't work
for me!

I happen to have IntelliPoint 4.1 and it works fine in Office XP VBA

The acceleration was way too low for my tastes. Which is the main
reason I went back to 3.1.
It also has a lot more choices, than version 5, for the 4th
and 5th buttons on my IntelliMouse Optical.

Whereas I can't stand the 4th and 5th mouse buttons. And that mouse
is a bit too large for my tastes so I just use the cheap Wheel Mouse
Optical. Of which I have four or five in strategic locations in my
knapsack, beside the Lazy boy recliner and so forth. As well as my
office of course. <smile>

However I found a guy who had the same trouble and wrote a great
program to fix this type of problem and add some nice wheel
features...

Very interesting. Thanks for the URL. I wonder if he fixes up the
performance problem as well.

My main complaint with MS Intellipoint is that I want several more
notches in how fast the mouse moves and accelerates.
