mousepointer

Hi everyone:

In excel, I have created an user form that may perform a rather long
process. So, I want to disable Excel, and change the mousepointer to
Hourglass. When done, change the mousepointer back to default, and enable
Excel. Does anyone know how to do this? I appreciate a code. Thanks for
all your help.

How about you leave the userform open, maybe with a label control that
displays "Working" prominently?

This will work for you!

Sub YourProcedure()

Application.Cursor = xlWait

'your code here

application.Cursor = xlDefault

End Sub

Hope this helps! If so, let me know or click "Yes" below.

You can go to the Object Browser in VBE and see all the properties, methods,
and events for all objects.

Hope this helps! If so, click "Yes" below.
