I have recently updated to Office 2007 on my workplace laptop and have run
into a strange anomaly. When I create a chart in a worksheet and ask Excel to
move it into a new worksheet:
(1) If I am connected to the ethernet network that was used to install (the
site-licensed version of) Office 2007, the chart is copied correctly.
(2) If I am connected to some other network (e.g. the wireless network in my
workplace), or not connected to any network, there is a long delay and then a
blank featureless blue worksheet is created. Sometimes Excel crashes during
the process.
Can someone explain what is going on? Is this some kind of copy protection
issue related to the site license?
