I have the MS Project template called software development project from the
templates site at the link below.
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC010184531033.aspx?pid=CT102530621033
I need to be able to move all tasks down several years (since everything
starts in 2000 in this template), but still keep everything related to
everything else just as it is. For instance, if there was a way to simply
move the start date to something else (I've tried the project start date to
no avail) and everything kinda moved on down, that would be great.
However, it appears that every task has a specific start date, which when I
think about it is great since not every task will start directly after the
preceeding task. So, is there a way to set a date that the project will start
on and every task will move down relative to that, just as it's currently
done except starting 11/25/09?
For instance, if the first task now starts on 1/1/00 and the second starts
on 1/5/00, then I would move the first task to 11/25/09 and the second would
be 11/30/09. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
