Move from MSPS 2003 to 2007 now? Or wait?

My organization is considering the move from MSPS 2003 to 2007. I worry
that we're moving too quickly to what is, I've been told, essentially a
completely new "Version 1.0" product. I've heard that the thechnology
is sufficiently different that there won't even be an upgrade path from
03 to 07. Can any of you comment on this and / or point me to a
discussion thread about it?

Hi Chuck,

First of all, I would wait until 2007 actually comes out. ( probably between
Nov and January) before you upgrade.

The technology is brand new ( since it requires WSS Version 3) but there is
an upgrade path from 2003 to 2007.

If I where you, I would "play" with Beta 2 ( and there is also documentation
about upgrading to 2007) and once the new version is out, you may want to
consider upgrading. This depends very much on how you use it and what you may
want to use 2007 for.
