move notification icon in task bar from past item to current item

Hi,

I am very very very upset. Very disappointed. Frastrating...

I use outlook and when ever I get a mail, there is a feature in outlook to
show new aleat msg on desktop. But i dont use that. What i see is, a small
outlook new mesg notification in the task bar near date and time.

When ever i get a new msg, there will be a small new mail icon displayed
there. Today by mistake i right clicked on that icon and selected "Hide
Envelop" bcoz of that it went to the past items in the "Customize
notification"... but not in current items, bcoz of that im not able to see a
new msg icon in the task bar... i want it to work as before. please do
something for me.

please, i really need your help. hope you understand my situation. please
help. im not so techy guy who known well and can explain you everything... Im
sorry. Please help me. I want that unopened mail icon to be displayed when
ever i get a new mail, I m not talking about desktop aleart option, but that
small icon in task bar beside date and time. Please help me to restore it as
soon as possible,

please.... i need it.. please do understand.

Go back and recheck it in Tools, Options, Email options, Advanced email
options.

Right click on the Start Button- Select Properties. On the Taskbar tab,
click on the Customize button next to "hide your inactive Icons." Locate
the Outlook Envelope, highlight it and use the dropdown window to change it
to "always show."
