Move org chart without auto-rerouting

When I move an entire org chart around the page, the connections
automatically reroute. Regardless of whether I group the whole thing
together. How can this be turned off in Visio 2000?

Hello Paul
You should not need to group the objects in order to move them around the
page. If you left mouse click, hold down the button and drag the selection
box around the desired objects you should be able to move them as a group
once selected. The key is once the objects have been selected is to hold down
the left mouse button and place the pointer on one of the shapes.
