Move Outlook.pst Outlook 2000 to other hard disk partition

I have a very small hard disk - only 6 Gb with less than 250 Mb left - and I
need to move my outlook.pst to another larger partition. The .pst file is 900
Megs in size.

I have exported my contacts and calendar and important emails in case
something goes wrong, and also have copies of both my main and archive
outlook file on the other bigger partition.

What would be the correct way to do this?

Can I close my current outlook.pst file and open the one I have moved to the
other partition, or what.

MS Office 2000 is installed on the small C drive and I need to leave it there.

Thanks for all replies.

The export is useless ;-)
Simply move the pst-file fro, it's original location to the preferred
location while Outlook is closed. Now when you start Outlook it will nag
about not finding it and allows you to point it to the new location. That's
it.

Thank you. But it's always nice to have multiple backups, and in different
data formats too.
