Move Sent Items and No Dates

An email is sent and is shown in the Sent Items folder. I then move that email to another folder by dragging it or by using the Move in the toolbar. When you look at the email in the new location the date is missing. I need the date to show otherwise I have no way to know when they were sent. Used for organizational purposes of when and who got the emails.

Thru the time of waiting for a response on this I continued to search the forums. I found something that led me down a path that led me down a path and so on until I figured it out myself. Part of it has to do with the missing in 2008 Move pull down bar that now only shows up when you actually have a new mail window open and you then go to the Message toolbar at the top. From there is was changing the date to sent and not received in the folder I moved too. Boy, do I feel like a dummy and at the same time feel good for solving it. Would be nice to see the previous Move function back.

Would be nice to see the previous Move function back.

In the Main window, select under View --> Customize toolbar. Add the "Move
to" icon to the top bar.(right under the delete icon)

If you are in the newsgroup view, you get the Copy to icon.
