Move to folder more than once

J

janicecharis

Recently I have been unable to move an email from one folder to another more
than once. Previously I was able to do this. Now I get a message saying
"The item could not be moved. It was either already moved or deleted, or
access was denied." Any suggestions? Thank you.

Depends on your Outlook configuration. Tried running scanpst.exe already
against your pst-file?

Thank you very much for your reply, but unfortunatley I have no idea what
that means. If you're able to dumb it down for me I'd be most appreciative.
Is it possible that the configuration would have changed when it wasn't doing
this previously?

Then you are working with a pst-file. See the link I provided earlier for
more info on pst-files and how to scan it for errors with scanpst.exe

I bet that this will not solve her problem Roady, just because I have just
encountered the same problem on someones PC, using POP3, Outlook 2003. The
scanpst was run and although I thought it fixed the problem the user called
back the next day to state the problem had returned. I checked the file
again with scanpst and it found no errors. Also tried to compact the file.
That made no difference. The file size is only 1.4Gig, well under they
typical 2Gig limit.
