The things that Word 2007 has in common with Word 2003 -- templates,
add-ins, dictionary, and registry entries -- are covered in
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/FilesToBackup.htm.
Macros are stored in templates (sometimes in documents, but that's
discouraged), so moving the templates will also move the macros. You
may have to redo any assignments of keyboard shortcuts to macros.
To move Quick Access Toolbar customizations, first open the file
manager (called Windows Explorer, My Computer, or just Computer in
various Windows versions). Go to Tools > Folder Options > View and set
the option to show hidden folders and files. Now navigate to the
folder
(in Windows XP)
C:\Documents and Settings\<your name>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Office
(in Windows Vista)
C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office
Copy any .qat files from there to the corresponding folder on the new
PC.
