Movie Clip works in PowerPoint, but not in slide show.

I know, this sounds confusing. Okay, I have created a presentation with
multiple movie clips. The presentation runs well except for when it runs
into one of my move clips. When shown in the slide show the movie clip runs
about 1/4 of the time and then jumps to the next slide scipping the rest of
the movie. From here the presentation runs all the way through. This movie
clip that is causing the problems runs fine when it's in PowerPoint and then
right-clicked to play. But, once it runs in the slide show as for a
presentation it will not run through the whole movie.

Please assist me...anyone.

maybe it helps to turn off the hardware graphic acceleretaton in Windows
(http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00129.htm).

What sort of movie file is it? And, where did it come from?

It's a media player movie or at least plays in it and it plays in powerpoint.
It came from our software which is Windows based.

Like I mentioned, this only happens with one of the movie clips, I have
several others larger in size that works fine and they were made from the
same program. The movie works well in Media Player, and once right clicked
in PowerPoint (not in slide show) the movie works. But, when the
presentation slide show begins this is where the problem occurs.

Please help! We have a trade show and need to make copies of this
presenation today!

Which application?

I suspect that when you made this clip you had different settings or the
settings you had did not properly match the original file.

WMV is what the movie clip is in.

I agree with your assumption. Unfortunately I didnt create the movie and no
longer have access to it.
