Movie into PPT

Don

I have imported an animated graphic to serve as an animated background
in some slides on a PPT presentation. The animated file is a Quicktime
movie.

I get the file OK and running into PPT but would like to have the
animated background to remain in the background while playing itself.
I want to add an still graphic file atop the movie slide and show the
two at show time.
Unfortunately, the movie animation takes over full screen in the
foreground covering everything else. I want it playing in the
background behind the top still graphic leaving this visible.

Can I do that in Microsoft PPT 2004 for Mac, version11.3.5 (070411)?
If it is possible, then, what I need to do?

Anticipated thanks for your response.

Hi,

Unfortunately, movies do not respect the layer setting and are always at the
front.

If you wish to register a suggestion that this behavior be changed in future
versions of PowerPoint please use the Help menu in PowerPoint and send
feedback to Microsoft.

Thanks.
