I've created a ppt that includes movies made on a Mac in AVI format. (The
ppt was begun on a Mac, but is now being edited on a PC.) My
intention is for a movie to appear on a slide as a picture (preview of the first
frame), wait a few seconds while other things happpen, and then run as a
movie.
When I initially place a movie file in the ppt file on the PC and test it, it
works fine. (It also works fine in media player on the PC)
However, once I save and close the ppt file and open it again, the preview of
the first frame will not display. The movie will play. Instead of the preview, I
see a wire frame with the message "QuickTime and Cinepak decompressor
are needed to see this picture."
Any idea why the preview works at first but does not work when the file is
reopened?
Thanks.
