Hello,
I have created a powerpoint presentation that contains a couple movie
files that I made using a screen recorder. The movie files are in .WMV
format, and work fine on the computer (PC1, we'll call it) that I
created the presentation with. However, when I move the presentation
and files to another computer (PC2), the movies will not play. When I
run the presentation and click on the movie, the image of the movie
flickers and powerpoint locks up. I have tried many things, including
packaging the presentation to cd, moving files to c:\test and deleting
them and reinserting them into the presentation, but the movies still
will not play. If I make a new powerpoint presentation on PC2, then
insert a movie file, it works fine, but the original movies that I
created on PC1 seem to never play in powerpoint on PC2, even if a new
slide show is created. I can't create the video on PC2, as I'm
recording a program that only exists on PC1. I know this might seem
confusing, but I'm starting to lose my mind. Please help!! By the
way, the movie files will play just fine in Windows Media Player on
both computers.
Thanks in advance,
Rance
