movies with text in powerpoint 2004

James

I have a powerpoint presentation that has embedded movies
(quicktime). I would like to overlay these movies with text and
keep the text visable while the movie plays. However,
when the movie plays it covers the text. Is there anyway
to keep the text visable when the movie is playing?

James,

If powerpoint mac is any thing like powerpoint pc, then videos clips always play "on top" of everything else. This is
because powerpoint does not actually play the video clips...it passes them over to the media player.

The only way to have text over the video...is to put the text in the video clip itself..using some video editing
software.

Thanks for the reply. This is a bummer. Is there anything out there
that will allow me to do a song list with background video?

Hi James,

I'm not quite sure what kind of end result you are aiming for.

How about if you save your presentation as a QuickTime movie then use
QuickTime, iMovie or Final Cut to add the sound tracks?
