Moving a master / sub-document set

Hi All,

Is there a way to create sub documents using relative
paths instead of absolute paths?

What I've found is that if I create a master document
with a number of sub-documents, and then have to e-mail
it to someone (for proof-reading for instance), they will
need to regenerate the master document as the paths
pointing to the sub-documents on the other person machine
will not be the same as they are on mine?

How does everyone else get around this problem?
