Hi Sandy,
You can try to "detach" your ProjectServer database from the existing
server, make a copy of both the .mdf and .ldf file and paste it into the
"Data" folder of the remote server and attach it using enterprise manager on
that remote server. Some points to note, take note of the server and database
roles settings so that you can create it back on that remote server. You can
use EditSite tool to verify your settings on the new server. An additional
point to note if you are using Portfolio Analyzer, do change the settings to
the name of that remote server in Manage Views -> Portfolio Analyzer, else it
will still point back to the old server. HTH
