Moving all footnotes between two documents

Hi
I am finishing up my PhD and want to use two different style
conventions for my footnotes one for publication the other for
submitting.

As I will be doing corrections to the thesis I don't want to have to
do them twice. I would rather do them to one of the documents and then
simply copy and paste in the different footnotes.

Is this possible?

thanks

Gareth, you mean different styles of how they're written, not
different MS Word formatting styles, right?

Of course it's possible, one at a time. If you're asking about a way
to copy and paste all of them at once, I doubt it. Even if you display
them all in one place, the moment you replace the old ones with the
new ones, won't they lose all their linkage to the body text?

Thanks Patty but doing 935 is pretty much what I am trying to avoid.
