Moving an email from the inbox to a personal folder

Steve

When I have an email open I can not move it to a personal folder, I get an
error message saying I don't have permision. But if I move it while its in
the inbox, without opening it, it moves just fine.

Anyone know what strange thing might be going on??

When the email is open I select "move to Folder", then I select "other
folder" and get the following error message "The item cannot be moved. It was
either already moved or deleted, access was denied, or the server is
unavailable. You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation.

I'm logged in as administrator, the mail is in the inbox and is not moved or
deleted.

I then close the email, select it in the inbox without opening it and then
follow the same steps and it moves the mail into the selected folder.

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,

Please find my email address on my website and send me a short email.
This sounds like a bug in 2007, and I'd like to bug it and provide your
email address to Microsoft in case they need to contact you.

Thanks,

Patrick Schmid
