Moving an MBE file

Hello,

Right here is what I am seeing.

I create an MBE in Folder A, it works in folder A, if I move it to Folder B,
it will not launch when double clicked on, it will only run when I use Access
to open it as a file.

If I create the file in Folder B, it works, I can double click on it I can
do what I like, I move it to Folder A, and it will not run unless selected
open file from within access, no double click or anything.

All this done as Admin, all permissions for the file will allow me to run
it, but when I move the file it will not run any more unless selected through
access.

Mybe the icon you double click on is a short cut and not the mde itself, if
so you should change the path on the short cut, or click on the mde file.

No, I am going directly to the file and double clicking after I move it.
Copy/Paste into Folder B and it will not run, you have to launch access and
then file open and select the file, then it runs.

Is Windows giving you an error message, or is it simply not doing anything?

Have you made sure that the right version of Access is
associated with *.mde files?

Yes. All this is happening on the same machine. When its moved it will not
run, but go back and click on the original and it works.
