moving autocorrect entries from word to access

Hello everyone,

I have the following issue; i have entered many entries in the autocorrect
under access 97 and now i want to copy all those entries and move them to
another computer. I thought that for 97 the entries were shared for Word and
Access, so I backed up the entries using Word, but when I load them in
another computer, Word gets updated, but Access remains with the same
original entries. I have tried to locate the Normal.dot file, but have been
unsuccessful. Hence, the question remains, how can i export entries in
autocorrect in Access to import them in another computer?

What kind of entries are they? Do they contain formatting or plain
text? Which files did you move? The *.acl files? If not, what did you
use to backup and load the entries?

The entries are the ones I have made that have formated text so when I type
text such as "Yaounde" it will autocorrect it to "Yaoundé". I know that the
formated text gets saved in the normal.doc file and not in the *.acl (which
only saved unformated entries); so my question is how do I move the formated
entries to the *.acl file that Access reads.....

If they are formatted entries then they are only recognized by Word.
AutoCorrect entries that are shared are plain text entries only and
Word is the only application that supports rich text entries.

Why don't you try redefining the entries as plain text so they are
stored in the *.acl file rather than Normal.dot? If those you are
missing contain special characters they should be fine as plain text
and do not need to be rich text entries.
